Love For Lochlin at a Glance
Spreading Love, Health, and Awareness
On January 20th of 2020 our 5 year old son Lochlin passed away from Flu - Sepsis. Since then it has become our mission to spread the love Lochlin had for life to as many people as possible. Lochlin was always smiling, loved animals, and loved his friends and family. He would always bring toys to school to give to his friends and loved playing sports with his brothers. He had such a big heart, and we want to continue spreading his love and joy for life through the Nonprofit we've created in his name.
As we continue to grow, we have one simple goal in mind, and that is to prevent the deadly impacts of infectious diseases such as the flu in our community. No one should have to experience the pain our family has been through from a vaccinable disease. Which is why it is our mission to prevent, educate, and drive awareness to how serious influenza and other infectious disease like it can be!
We also know that our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly through the actions of our initiatives. Which is why our organization is determined to make a difference and win the battle against infectious diseases in the name of our son, Lochlin DeSantis.
Supporting The Community
COVID-19 Vaccine Appointments
We are currently working with a team through the state of Maryland where we have the ability to register and schedule appointments for the COVID-19 Vaccine. If you are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine please scan the QR code with your phone camera and fill out the form to have a vaccine appointment scheduled.
Flu & Sepsis Awareness
Our organizations core mission is to provide awareness, education, and protection to everyone from the deadly impacts of the Flu and Sepsis. The Flu and Sepsis kill thousands of people every year. However, it can be prevented if you know the signs and symptoms! Which is why we do free flu clinics in our community every week to help those in need protect themselves against the FLU and get educated on the signs and symptoms of Sepsis. Supporting the Homeless
With this initiative, our goal is to promote and support those in need. With access to the right resources, people can become empowered by their own abilities and gain the confidence to fulfill their potential. With our mission at the forefront we work hard to help educate, protect, and empower all patrons in our community regardless of their circumstances.
